Business owners consistently site lack of a trained workforce as a challenge. Workforce has multiple components not the least of which are the educational resources available in the community. Currently, Zephyrhills is supports five public k-12 schools, five private k-12 schools and the state college has campuses within a 20-minute drive time. A private university and a large public research university are only 30 minutes away.
